Foundation Film and Media is a production company based in Winnipeg, Manitoba. We create original content including documentary-style short films, broadcast television, commercials and branded content. Our goal on all projects, large and small, is to create moments that engage. Jamie Mierau

Beginning his career in film over twenty years ago, Jamie worked as a director and editor based in both Toronto and Winnipeg. With a wide range of experience, he has directed music videos, short films, commercials, branded content and TV documentaries. Jamie has a passion for storytelling and capturing real moments that resonate with people. Most recently, Jamie directed and edited an hour long TV documentary for CBC, a number of TV commercials and is in post-production on a number of projects.
Dave Kornas
Co-Founder and Executive Producer

Coming from a business background, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and Marketing from Capilano University, Dave has over 15 years of experience in many different areas in the media production world. Previously working in London, England and Vancouver, BC, he has had the opportunity to work with some international clients like Coors Light, Target, Mattel and Toyota. Most recently, Dave collaborated with Jamie on producing a couple of hour long documentaries and is currently producing a number of branded projects and commercials.
David Greisman
Director and Cinematographer
David graduated from the University of Manitoba, with a B.A. in Film Studies, and received a Diploma from RRC in Digital Media Design. David went on to work over the next 10 years both overseas and domestically. In the last 5 years David has focused on commercial photography, cinematography, directing and editing. David has a special ability to capture stunning visuals and a unique sense in recognizing those impactful moments.
